Why should Mavericks fans be excited about the offseason?

The Mavericks are coming off a nightmare season, where things unexpectedly imploded at the worst possible time. But all that is in the past now, and the team has officially turned to the promise of an exciting, busy summer.

Here's SB Nation's Mavericks blog Mavs Moneyball with six reasons fans of the team should be excited right now, including the unpredictability of one of the league's savviest front offices:

"The craziness that is the Mavs' front office during the offseason. Last year they pulled that Tyson Chandler trade seemingly out of thin air. What magic do they have for us over the next few months?"

The Mavericks' front office likes to swing for the fences, which usually brings extra fireworks to almost every Fourth of July BBQ in the Dallas area. What big move will they make this summer? Will they land LaMarcus Aldridge or DeAndre Jordan?
