It was a surreal scene as fans cheered for the team as it exited the plane while confetti poured from the sky and Queen's "We are the Champions" blared over loudspeakers.
Each player took his time stepping off the plane, making sure to soak in the moment, with many capturing the scene on their phones.
LeBron James, who was sporting an Ultimate Warrior T-shirt and a Kermit drinking coffee hat, was one of the last players to make his way off the plane. The hometown hero screamed as he raised the Larry O'Brien Trophy while the crowd reacted with deafening "M-V-P" chants.
