Udonis Haslem stands up against Donald Trump's 'locker room talk'
The Miami Heat veteran doesn’t know what kind of locker room Donald Trump is talking about.
In case you’ve been living underneath a rock (and in which case, I honestly envy you) you’ve heard of Donald Trump’s recording of him talking about the, well, disgusting things he does to women. When asked about his comments during the Presidential Debate Sunday night, Trump characterized the conversation he had 11 years ago as “locker room talk” and “just words.”
Udonis Haslem, who has spent that last 14 years in the Miami Heat’s locker room and has never been shy but has more out-spoken this summer, took offense to Trump’s comment, saying he doesn’t know what kind of locker room those comments would be made in.
UD offended by Trump characterizing comments as locker room talk. 'What locker room has he been in? That's not our locker room' #Heat

Since this is a sports blog, I won’t comment on the politics of Trump, but no matter who you are those comments are repulsive. I’ve not spent nearly as much time as Haslem in locker rooms, but I’ve been in them plenty as a reporter and would agree with him that this is not what you hear in a locker room.
Do you hear guys goofing off? Making fun of each other? Absolutely. But what Trump said? No way. Those are the comments of trolls in the dark places of the internet. But I’ll get off my soap box now. Trump needs to expand his base if he’s going to be elected president, and we know one vote he won’t get–that of Udonis Haslem.
