Tyler Johnson 'threw up a couple times' over big-money offer sheet

Tyler Johnson made about $500,000 in his rookie season with the Miami Heat.

He made a little over $800,000 in his second season.

So what happened when free agency opened up and the Brooklyn Nets threw a four-year, $50 million offer out there?

"I threw up a couple of times when I heard the number go out there. I was in shock. I even lost a little bit of weight, because just the anxiety of going through that whole process and not knowing where I was going to be," he told the Sun Sentinel on Monday from a team water-safety event.

Given the gaudy numbers being thrown around in the NBA today -- and the even more ridiculous contracts on the horizon -- it's refreshing to see a guy in awe of the bounty he's earned.

Johnson was also pretty surprised the Heat matched the offer and regrets that he was unable to restructure it to make it more cap-friendly.
