The Houston Rockets 'butt pass' perfectly summarizes their season

And so it has come to this for the Houston Rockets.

In the second quarter of what was supposed to be a fairly easy win Thursday night against the bottom-feeding Phoenix Suns (21-58), Josh Smith had just gotten poked in the eye and leaned over to collect himself. But teammate Andrew Goudelock needed to inbound the ball. Behold the "butt pass":

It was actually a creative idea by Goudelock but serves better a hilarious punctuation to a bitterly disappointing 2015-2016 campaign that may even see the Rockets (38-41) miss the playoffs (no thanks to the Los Angeles Clippers).
