Report: Miami's 'Big 3' meet to discuss their future
It's been four years and two championships since LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh got together to discuss joining forces in Miami. Well, they met again Wednesday to discuss their basketball future, according to an ESPN report.
James decided to opt out of the final two years of his contract with the Heat and is leaving $42 million on the table. He'll officially be a free agent July 1, which is the deadline for Wade and Bosh to decide if they'll do the same and test the market.
The 'Big 3' met over a meal in the South Beach area, according to the Miami Herald.
It's been common for James, Wade and Bosh to consult each other before signing their deals, as they did in 2006 before signing their three-year contract extentions, making them free agents in 2010 and able to play on the same team.
