Report: Donald Sterling finally files for divorce from wife Shelly

Former Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his wife, Shelly, have hardly had the best marriage in world history. Yet, they've stayed together—probably not for "all the good times."
Now, though, it appears everyone's least favorite marriage is finally beginning its end. From Dan Woike of the Orange County Register:
The Sterlings stuck out their marriage after years of reported affairs and inappropriate comments and actions from the Clippers' owner. It's not like Shelly was above it all, either, allegedly involving herself in plenty of Sterlings' dirty doings, including some of his supposed housing discrimination actions.
The assumption, though, was that the Sterling stuck together because of one major, jointly owned asset: Can you guess what that one was?
The Clippers.
Now, with Steve Ballmer jumping in to purchase the team for $2 billion last summer, dividing up the Clips is no longer an option. The Sterlings can legally divorce, and Shelly's title of "No. 1 fan" won't even be in jeopardy.
Stay in tune with this story, though, because whenever Donald is fighting over something in court, weird stories come out. I can't see why this one would be any different.

Almost a year after they opposed each other in probate court for control of the Clippers, Donald Sterling and his wife Shelly are heading for divorce.
In documents acquired by the Register, Donald Sterling filed for divorce Tuesday in Superior Court of California in Los Angeles, 16 days before the couple's 60th anniversary.
The Sterlings, who remained married during numerous public issues, were at odds after Donald Sterling was recorded making racist remarks to his associate, V. Stiviano.
