Glen Davis is still a free agent, but that doesn't mean he has no prospects.

Here's more from Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times:

Big Baby averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game for the Clippers this past season. He's played for Doc Rivers both in L.A. and with the Celtics.

Davis has been making the media rounds of late, making appearances on networks such as CBS Radio and ESPN among others. You could argue a fun conspiracy theory that he's done playing or readying to take a year off if a team doesn't sign him and wants to show off his intellect on TV as he campaigns for a job in broadcasting. But, of course, a willingness to go play in China completely shoots down that theory.

The Clippers still have one roster spot remaining after waiving Jordan Hamilton a few weeks ago. With the team still trying to trade Jamal Crawford, having the extra room is a nice luxury in case it wants to bring a couple of guys back in a two-for-one deal. But it's certainly possible we see Big Baby on the floor of the Staples Center once again next year.
