Reliving Heat's 27-game win streak
The Heat’s unforgettable chase for history has come to a halt at 27 games after the Bulls pulled off the upset Wednesday night. But don’t fret because it’s time to relive all the highlights (remarkable and ridiculous) Miami authored during this nearly two-month run.
The Harlem Shake
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the Miami Heat know how to have a good time. Nothing illustrated this better than when the defending champs jumped on the latest dance craze and nearly overloaded YouTube. Nearly 43 million clicks later, Miami’s rendition proved to be one of the definitive takes. Check out ‘Super Mario’ Chalmers, King James and Dwyane (Teddy Bear) Wade break it down.
But like most anything else that’s popular, there will always be haters. Cue the Minnesota Timberwolves’ answer to the South Beach version.
LeBron ‘Knights’ Jason Terry
Oh, Jason Terry. Did you not learn from Brandon Knight’s mistake? Obviously, he didn’t. The Celtics veteran guard found himself in a no-win situation against the Heat on March 18. After turning the ball over, Terry tried to stop a Heat fastbreak, only to be caught on the wrong end of a LeBron James poster.
Fan runs onto court during Heat’s huge rally over Cavs
Down 26 points, on the road with less than 20 minutes to go. We all expected the Heat’s streak to stop at 23 in Cleveland. But Miami answered with a 43-12 run to leave LeBron’s former team and its fans shell-shocked. One fan made his presence known during the run, running up to King James decked out in a pro-LeBron shirt. How did the Heat pull off the miracle? Take a look.
Wade interviews LeBron
Just because Dwyane Wade had to sit out a couple of games, doesn’t mean he can’t take part in the festivities. The Heat’s star two-guard went one-on-one with King James after the game, quizzing him about the Heat’s 26th consecutive win and how the team could overcome the loss of WOW (Way of Wade). Even Bosh gets into the act.
Bosh's mariachi birthday
Chris Bosh can't help but have a good time. So it should come as no surprise that the veteran Heat forward wouldn't have just any birthday party. So in the midst of the winning streak, Bosh enjoyed a mariachi-style B-day.

LeBron video bombs Ray Allen
LeBron was on the giving end of this piece of video hijinks. King James gets some face time (literally) during Ray Allen's postgame interview after the Heat's 27th consecutive win. His expression says it all.
What they're saying
The Heat's loss to the Bulls has left Twitter abuzz. Even a member from the '72 Lakers chimed in to give his thoughts and the demise of the streak.
And the Lakers couldn't resist taking their own dig, despite fighting for the eighth spot in the West.
The Lakers have won 22 consecutive games over the Timberwolves. A streak that wasn't snapped in the NBA tonight. #GoLakers
