Raptors' Calderon back after 5-game absence

Published Mar. 21, 2012 12:18 a.m. ET

Jose Calderon was back in the Toronto Raptors' starting lineup Tuesday night against the New York Knicks after missing five games with a sprained right ankle.

The Raptors went 2-3 without their point guard, who is third in the NBA with 8.5 assists per game and leads the league with a 4.46 assist-to-turnover ratio. He was hurt in the second quarter of a March 10 game against Detroit.

The Knicks were again without backup point guard Baron Davis because of a strained right hamstring.
