The diner chain is a staple of the region, serving up breakfast fare whenever you might have a hankering. Even if you're coming off a loss to the Hawks in your final stop in Atlanta as an NBA player, for instance.
Late Friday night, after the Los Angeles Lakers were defeated by the Hawks, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant apparently went to grab a little grub in what was Vanessa's first time at a Waffle House, according to screen grabs of her (locked) Instagram account:
It's a little tough to tell because of the practically non-existent color contrast, but it seems like Bryant has a healthy pile of grits next to his steak. That's how you know the diner-love is real.
