Pau Gasol 'very likely' to opt out of contract with Bulls
Chicago Bulls center/power forward Pau Gasol is experiencing another strong season, and he is keenly aware of it. He's so aware, in fact, that Gasol already appears set to test free agency next summer.
As if that wasn't enough of a hint, Gasol then made his intentions explicitly clear.
Pau Gasol told Comcast SportsNet Chicago that “As long as I keep playing like this,” Gasol said. “I know I’ll have some options.” #Bulls

Gasol, 35, is no longer the player he was during his prime with the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies, but he is still an effective low-post player. The native of Spain is averaging 14.4 points and 10.8 rebounds to go along with two blocks this season for the Bulls.
Pau Gasol told CSNChicago Wednesday night that it’s “very likely” he’ll opt-out of his contract this summer and test the market. #Bulls

A five-time All-Star, Gasol should have no shortage of suitors this upcoming offseason.
