Nets waive Jones, Harper to get roster to 15

NEW YORK (AP) The Brooklyn Nets have waived Dahntay Jones and Justin Harper to get their roster to the 15-man limit.

Jones averaged 7.5 points in four preseason games. The veteran swingman has played for seven NBA teams, including 33 games last season for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harper averaged 9.0 points in six preseason games.

Teams had to have their season-opening rosters set at 15 by Monday evening.
