'Melo buys art — then Hibbert seves it

Carmelo Anthony sports himself as a bit of an art aficionado. So does Roy Hibbert. We're not sure they should be sharing a studio anytime soon, though.

According to the New York Post , Anthony on Tuesday night won the Muhammad Ali print in an auction in the Big Apple, seated with Tommy Hilfiger and Swizz Beatz at the Gordon Parks Awards dinner and auction.

“I am big into the art world. I am still learning, I’ve bought a lot of different artists. As far as collecting just one, I am trying to take my time and get some art I feel genuine towards,” he told the paper.

Then on Thursday, Hibbert, whose late-game block of an Anthony dunk attempt became the signature play of this postseason — and perhaps Melo's career — tweeted this.

In case you missed it, that is a reference to this play to seal Game 6 and eliminate the Knicks from the Eastern Conference semifinals.
