Marcus Smart mentioned in ex-teammate's lawsuit against Oklahoma State and Travis Ford

Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart's days of controversy are far behind him, but Stevie Clark, a former teammate at Oklahoma State University, is dragging them back into the spotlight.

Clark filed a lawsuit against Oklahoma State and its head men's basketball coach Travis Ford, per Tulsa World. In the suit, Clark mentions Smart, and has nothing nice to say.

Smart notoriously struck a Texas Tech fan during a game in 2014, but outside of a few on-court incidents where Smart let his physical playing style cross the line, since entering the NBA he's been a model citizen.

The Celtics view him as a franchise player and someone who sets the tone both on and off the floor. He works hard and could become one of Boston's best players this season.

12. In addition, Stevie was facing hazing and disrespect from another player, Marcus Smart, a starter. Stevie expressed his frustration to Coach Ford. In response, Coach Ford had Stevie put on psychotropic drugs without his consent. Coach Ford required Stevie to take the meds if he wanted to keep practicing with the team.
