Lin has surgery, posts hospital pictures

The Knicks say Lin had successful surgery on his chronic small meniscal tear in his left knee, and he posted a picture on Twitter of himself recovering in his hospital bed.

The procedure was performed by team orthopedist Dr. Answorth Allen at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Lin tweeted: ''Praise God for a successful surgery...road to recovery! Lets goo. Much love to the fans for your support and kind words.''

He is expected to be out for about six weeks.
