Unsure of where to turn now that all of the basketball for the summer is over and October seems such a long time away? Don't fret, Sacramento Kings fans. The team announced this week its 2015 preseason schedule, which means that basketball is right around the corner.

The Kings get their 2015-16 season (unofficially) started against the LaMarcus Aldridge-less Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, October 5 in Portland, then it's back home to Sacramento to host the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs on October 7 and 8, respectively.

The Blazers make the return trip to Sacramento on October 10, followed by the Kings hitting the road to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada for the team's annual preseason game with the Los Angeles Lakers on October 13. Finally, Sacramento plays one more neutral-site game against the New Orleans Pelicans at Kentucky's Rupp Arena, former college stomping ground of DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Willie Caulie-Stein.

After that, the Kings wrap up camp, and two weeks later, the NBA season begins.

So mark your calendars, count down the days, and get your road trip gear ready. Kings basketball is right around the corner.
