Kevin Durant ties MJ with most misses in a playoff game in past 30 years

Kevin Durant had a rough outing on Monday night.

Not only did his Thunder lose to the Mavericks, 85-84, in Game 2, but Durant missed a potential game-winning lay-up right before the buzzer -- his 26th miss of the night.

Overall, Durant finished 7-of-33 from the floor, matching Michael Jordan for the worst high-volume shooting performance in the playoffs over the past 30 years:

Following the game, Durant took the blame for the loss, chalking it up to simply missing shots he normally makes:

There's almost no chance that Durant shoots this poorly in Game 3 in Dallas, but the Mavericks might have potentially found a way to frustrate the former MVP and make this series interesting. Maybe.
