BULLS WAIVE STARTER FROM LAST SEASON

Guard Keith Bogans was waived by the Chicago Bulls. Bogans started all 82 games last season and averaged 4.4 points in 17.8 minutes per game. The Bulls, who had been holding him out of practice, had a $1.73 million contract option and a Dec. 19 deadline for a decision on it.

WARRIORS SIGN KWAME BROWN TO ONE-YEAR DEAL

The Golden State Warriors have signed free-agent center Kwame Brown to a $7 million, one-year deal.

The well-traveled Brown, who spent last season with Charlotte and joins his sixth NBA team, will give new coach Mark Jackson depth at the center spot alongside Andris Biedrins.

The 29-year-old Brown, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft by the Washington Wizards, averaged 7.9 points and 6.8 rebounds in 66 games with 50 starts last season while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor.

LAKERS SIGN MCROBERTS TO TW0-YEAR DEAL

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free-agent forward Josh McRoberts to a two-year contract. The Lakers announced the deal Wednesday with McRoberts, a four-year NBA veteran who spent the past three seasons with the Indiana Pacers. Full story ...

The Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed free agent Luc Richard Mbah a Moute to a multiyear contract. The 25-year-old Mbah a Moute averaged 6.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in 79 games for the Bucks last season. He was second on the team in rebounds (420). The 6-foot-8 forward is entering his fourth NBA season.

NETS SIGN FORMER DUKE STAR

The New Jersey Nets signed free agent forward Shelden Williams. A five-year NBA veteran who has played for six teams, Williams has averaged 4.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 303 games. Selected out of Duke by Atlanta with the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft, Williams was traded to Sacramento during the 2007-08 season.

KWAME BROWN, WARRIORS AGREE TO DEAL

Free agent center Kwame Brown has agreed to terms on a one-year, $7 million contract with the Golden State Warriors. Agent Mark Bartelstein says the offer in Golden State was ''too good to pass up.'' Full Story ...

GASOL AGREES TO STAY WITH GRIZZLIES

Marc Gasol announced on Twitter that he has reached a tentative agreement with the Grizzlies keeping him in Memphis. The Memphis Grizzlies confirmed the agreement later, keeping a player general manager Chris Wallace called one of the franchise's cornerstones. Full story...

REPORT: CLIPPERS REJECT DEAL FOR PAUL

The Clippers thought they had a deal. The pieces were in place, the teams had agreed on the players, and the trade — the kind you attach the word “blockbuster” to — was all but sealed.

RAPTORS LAND FREE-AGENT G CARTER

The Toronto Raptors agreed to terms with free-agent guard Anthony Carter. Carter has averaged 4.9 points, 3.9 assists and 20 minutes per game over 599 regular-season games. He's made 181 starts and averaged more than 15 minutes a game in nine of his 12 seasons. Full story...

BULLS RE-SIGN VETERAN SCALABRINE

The Chicago Bulls re-signed veteran forward Brian Scalabrine. The 6-foot-9 Scalabrine played in 18 games for Chicago last season and averaged 1.1 points. He is a 10-year NBA veteran and has averaged 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 492 regular-season games. He's also participated in 39 playoff games.

SUNS FINALIZE HILL DEAL, SIGN TWO MORE

The Phoenix Suns re-signed forward Grant Hill on Sunday and signed guard Sebastian Telfair and first-round pick Markieff Morris.

The 39-year-old Hill averaged 13.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 80 games last season, his fourth with the Suns and 16th in the NBA. He agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million contract Friday.

WEST AGREES TO TWO-YEAR DEAL WITH PACERS

David West is headed north to Indiana, where he will join forces with Danny Granger and former Hornets teammate Darren Collison. West agreed to a two-year deal with the Pacers on Sunday that his agent, Lance Young, said was worth $20 million. Full story...

KNICKS SIGN BIBBY, JEFFRIES AND TWO ROOKIES

The New York Knicks signed veteran guard Mike Bibby, re-signed forward Jared Jeffries, and inked their two draft picks Sunday, finally giving themselves enough healthy bodies to hold a normal practice. Full story...

WARRIORS SIGN CLIPPERS' JORDAN TO OFFER SHEET

The Golden State Warriors have signed center DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers to a restricted free agent offer sheet. A person with knowledge of the negotiations says the offer sheet signed is for a $42.7 million, four-year deal. As a restricted free agent, the Clippers have three days to match the offer.

MAVS SIGN NEITZEL, CONFIRM ODOM TRADE

Free agent guard Drew Neitzel has signed with the Dallas Mavericks. The defending NBA champions announced the move Sunday, when they also confirmed they had acquired Lamar Odom from the Los Angeles Lakers.

A former Michigan State standout, Neitzel went undrafted in 2008 but played for Minnesota's summer league team and then Portland's the next summer. Neitzel played in Germany last season, averaging 7.7 points, 3.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 16 games for BBC Bayreuth.

WARRIORS WAIVE BELL UNDER AMNESTY

The Golden State Warriors have waived guard Charlie Bell under the new amnesty provision, wiping his remaining contract from the salary cap and avoiding any luxury tax penalties.

The Warriors also announced Sunday that the qualifying offer to forward Reggie Williams has been rescinded. The moves give Golden State more space to sign another free agent.

Bell never reported for training camp. Authorities said Bell showed up intoxicated at a Thursday court date for a drunken driving arrest in Michigan. He already is facing a one-game suspension without pay after pleading no contest to reckless driving in California.

REPORT: LAKERS TRADE ODOM TO MAVS

Two days after getting rebuffed by the NBA in an apparent deal for Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Lakers sent forward Lamar Odom to Dallas for the Mavericks' first-round pick in the 2012 amateur draft, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The Mavericks might also send the Lakers another unspecified draft pick, according to the Times. It was not immediately clear whether the move was a straight salary dump or a circuitous effort to try to get Dwight Howard or Paul down the road. Full story ...

PACERS RE-SIGN JEFF FOSTER

The Indiana Pacers have re-signed veteran center Jeff Foster.

The 6-foot-11 free agent has been with the Pacers his entire 12-year career. He has career averages of 4.9 points and 6.9 rebounds. Foster is among the Pacers' top 10 in 11 different categories.

REPORT: PAUL-TO-LAKERS TRADE RESUBMITTED

The New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets have resubmitted to the NBA a trade that would send Chris Paul to the Lakers, according to multiple reports Saturday.

The deal is "still on life support, even though people tried to kill it," a source close to the situation told the Los Angeles Times. Full story ...

NY KNICKS ACQUIRE CHANDLER FROM MAVS

The New York Knicks acquired Tyson Chandler from the Dallas Mavericks and sent Ronny Turiaf to the Washington Wizards in a three-team trade. The Knicks also announced they had waived Chauncey Billups and designated him as their amnesty player. Full story...

VETERAN BULTER HEADED TO RAPTORS

The Toronto Raptors signed veteran free-agent forward Rasual Butler. The six-foot-seven shooting guard split last season between the Clippers and Chicago Bulls and started in a combined 47 games, mostly with LA. Full story...

ODEN, BLAZERS AGREE TO NEW DEAL

The Portland Trail Blazers and Greg Oden agreed to a restructured one-year contract after the oft-injured center had another setback during his rehabilitation from microfracture surgery on his left knee.

The new contract was announced Friday after the Blazers opened training camp. A day earlier, Oden's agent reported the former No. 1 draft pick had agreed to the $8.9 million qualifying offer that Portland offered on June 29. Full story ...

HAWKS SIGN VETERAN RADMANOVIC

The Atlanta Hawks have signed 10-year veteran forward Vladimir Radmanovic, who played last season with Golden State.

The 6-foot-10 Radmanovic averaged 5.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 74 games with the Warriors. He made 40.5 percent of his 3-point shots, ranking 23rd in the league. Full story ...
