Jeremy Lamb looks forward to a 'fresh start' with the Hornets

It's tough to say who is at fault for Jeremy Lamb not realizing his full potential in Oklahoma City. Perhaps Scott Brooks didn't play him enough, or perhaps Lamb didn't do the things Brooks asked of him. None of that matters now, because Lamb is with a new team – the Charlotte Hornets – and a new coach – Steve Clifford – and he's going to make the most of his second chance. As he told the Charlotte Observer:

"'It just gives me a fresh start,' Lamb, 23, said Friday after an introductory news conference. 'It gives me an opportunity to try to get a role and just play. I’m going to make the most of it. I’m just going to work hard and try my best to put myself in a position to play and have a role on this team.'

The Hornets are in desperate need of shooters and players who can create off the dribble. If Lamb can excel in those areas, then he'll be a fixture for the Hornets moving forward.
