Ilgauskas reports to Wizards, inactive vs. Denver

Published Feb. 19, 2010 6:57 p.m. ET

Zydrunas Ilgauskas reported to the Washington Wizards on Friday, two days after being acquired in the trade that sent Antawn Jamison to Cleveland.

He did not arrive in time to participate in Washington's shootaround and was inactive for the game Friday night against Denver.

His future in Washington is uncertain and there is a possibility he could be bought out.

Coach Flip Saunders says the team is exploring its options for the next move and did not expect Ilgauskas to attend the game.

Ilgauskas will not travel with the team for the game Saturday against Toronto.

Al Thornton was acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the three-team deal. He was at the shootaround and Saunders says he expected Thornton to play.
