Not a whole lot went right for the Atlanta Hawks in their Saturday loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks went down big to the Cavs, coach Mike Budenholzer got ejected, and big man Tiago Splitter left in the first half with a sore right hip.

Splitter did not return after being examined by the team's medical staff. And after the game, Budenholzer updated reporters on Splitter's status (via Atlanta Journal-Constitution):

Atlanta had been dealing with an ankle injury to starting point guard Jeff Teague, but he returned against the Cavaliers, scoring 13 points. Kent Bazemore, who also has an injured ankle, missed the game, however.

“His hip is giving him a little bit of problem so we’ll continue to evaluate him and see what it is going forward.”
