Hawks give Raptors' Carroll warm welcome in Atlanta return (VIDEO)
Without DeMarre Carroll's versatility, defensive intensity and teamwork, the Atlanta Hawks wouldn't have been nearly as successful as they were last season. So when Carroll returned to Atlanta on Wednesday with his new team, the Toronto Raptors, his old team made sure that he felt right at home once more.
The Hawks played a touching video for Carroll during a break in the game's action, which the Raptors wing seemed to appreciate:

The Philips Arena crowd greeted Carroll with a big ovation, even though Raptors coach Dwane Casey told reporters that he leaned heavily on the former Hawk for game-planning insight. After all, Carroll's nothing if not competitive. It's something Atlanta knows -- and loves.
