'Gone too soon': Former, current NBA stars react to Darryl Dawkins' passing

The sports world mourned when the news broke that Philadelphia 76ers great Darryl Dawkins died Thursday morning.
The showman known as Chocolate Thunder "touched the hearts and spirits of so many with his big smile and personality, ferocious dunks, but more than anything, his huge, loving heart," his family said in a statement.
And the void left by the 58-year-old's passing was palpable.
