Glen 'Big Baby' Davis: Matt Barnes is 'obsessed' with Rihanna

Glen Davis has been making the media rounds of late. His most recent (unintentional) victim: Matt Barnes.

The current Grizzly and Davis' former teammate with the Clippers recently insinuated that he was dating pop star Rihanna. Unfortunately for him, Rihanna has an internet connection, found out about the rumors and eviscerated him for promoting something that she said was untrue.

Now, Davis is commenting on it, and he doesn't appear to be doing Barnes many favors in doing so. Here's what Big Baby had to say to SI Now's Maggie Gray, transcription courtesy of the New York Post:

Oof...Big Baby isn't really known for his defense. This is why.

I know you're trying to protect your friend, but this didn't come off to well. Oh well, they're not teammates anymore. At least Davis won't have to hear about it.

“I think he likes her,” Davis said. “I think he just had a big crush. He said a little too much. He has a crush. It’s just a little high school fling thing. He’s just obsessed with her. Like on the plane, he talks about her all the time. … It was just something friendly, Rihanna didn’t have to kill him like that.”
