Even Broncos LB Von Miller wants to join the Warriors
Kevin Durant's decision to join the Golden State Warriors made them the overwhelming favorite to win the 2017 NBA title, and with four All-NBA caliber players in the starting lineup (on big contracts), Golden State now has to fill out the roster with role players - and ring-seekers are lining up for a chance to play in Oakland. Golden State has reportedly agreed to deals with veteran big men Zaza Pachulia and David West, while Ray Allen is interested in coming back from a two-year break to try and win a third ring.
Athletes from entirely different sports also seem willing to sit on the bench and collect a prize at the end of the year.
Von Miller, who is seeking a long-term deal with Denver but until recently was in a standoff with the team, bagged a Super Bowl MVP award earlier this year, and on Wednesday posted a Photoshop that had been circling the Internet (created by The Kicker) of himself wearing a Golden State Warriors jersey.
