In terms of efficiency, Toronto's DeMar DeRozan is quickly making a case for himself as the Eastern Conference Player of the Month.

According to Raptors Republic, DeRozan averages 23.3 possessions per game. As such, he scores 0.98 points per possession. That mark ranks him No. 8 overall in the NBA among high volume players (more than 20 possessions per game), and just one notch below teammate Kyle Lowry.

DeRozan, however, has put up slightly better efficiency numbers than NBA superstar LeBron James.  While DeRozan averages 0.98 points per possession, James currently averages 0.97.
