Davis had eight points - all on dunks in the first half - six rebounds and two blocks. He was injured with 4:51 left in the first half. The Hornets released an official statement that he will be out for the rest of the game. The Hornets trailed 41-40 at halftime.

Davis, who led Kentucky to the NCAA championship last season, scored 21 points in his regular-season debut on Wednesday in the Hornets' 99-95 loss to San Antonio. He hit 6 of 12 shots, made all nine of his free throw attempts and grabbed seven rebounds.
