Corey Brewer excited to reunite with Ty Lawson

When the Houston Rockets acquired Ty Lawson from the Denver Nuggets, they reunited two former teammates.

Corey Brewer and Ty Lawson played together in Denver, where they punished opponents with their high energy play and speed. Now reunited Houston, Brewer says they want to do much of the same for the Rockets.

Here's what Brewer told James Herbert of CBSSports.com about his reaction to the Lawson trade:

"I was really happy. I had some good years in Denver with Ty so I know how to play with him and I love the way he plays because he plays fast like I do and he's going to push the pace, push the tempo. That's what we need here. That's what we like to do. We like to run."
