Chinese students honor Kobe Bryant with giant snow portrait on basketball court
Add a snow portrait to the list of eccentric gifts Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has received since he announced he was retiring a couple of weeks ago.
Students in the Chinese province of Jilin got creative with their tribute to Bryant, carving his face and the words "Forever 24" onto their snow-covered basketball court, via China Xinhua News:
Bryant is a cultural phenomenon in China -- even more than Yao Ming is. It's only right that they honor him in such a grand fashion, and one can assume others will try to top this gesture.
