Championship-hungry Isaiah Thomas wants to chat with Tom Brady

Boston is good at professional sports. Since the New England Patriots set off on their dynastic run over 15 years ago, the city has won nine championships in the four major sports, a mind-blowing stretch that sometimes feels like it'll never stop.
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas is one reason why.
The 5'9" All-Star is the best explosive offensive threat the Celtics have had since Paul Pierce's prime, and he's committed to helping the most successful organization in NBA history raise their 18th banner.
To do so, he's willing to do whatever it takes, including let the world know he really wants to chat with Patriots legend Tom Brady -- perhaps the greatest athlete in the country's most historic sports locale:
First of all, who wouldn't want to chat with Brady? He's easy to look at, doesn't use big words, is probably the best quarterback in NFL history and keeps his team in championship contention every single year. If you're interested in being better at life, it wouldn't hurt to hear first-hand how he lives his.
On ESPN's "NFL Insiders" show, @mortreport says that one of the first people Peyton Manning called about his retirement was Tom Brady.

Thomas isn't on Brady's level. He might not even be the best overall player the Celtics have on their current roster; despite his All-Star selection, Thomas definitely won't make an All-NBA team.
But it's still cool that he wants to improve in any way he can, to take as much advice as possible and process all that's available.
The Celtics won't win the title this year, but it's not impossible to say they'll at least reach the Finals before Thomas' current contract expires in 2018.
With Brady as a mentor, don't be surprised if they win a championship before that.
