Celtics thank Rondo with emotional tribute in his return as Maverick

The last member of the 2008 championship team to depart the Boston Celtics received his tribute Friday night at TD Garden.

Rajon Rondo returned two weeks after being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, and the point guard was treated to a video tribute, just like the ones given to Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers.

After the montage, which played on the arena's video screen at the end of the first quarter, Rondo received a standing ovation from the crowd.
