Bojan Bogdanovic expects 'a whole new role' next season

Bojan Bogdanovic had a solid enough first season to make it onto the NBA's All-Rookie Second-Team, but that doesn't mean he's looking to thwart his improvement where he left off last season.
The 26-year-old just left a message regarding his thoughts for the upcoming season on his official Facebook page:
"I expect a whole new role, however not concerning the minutes spent on the court, but regarding ball allocation. I expect to have the ball more often in my possession, and thus a better season than the previous one."
With Deron Williams out of town and with the way Bogdanovic played down the stretch of last season, it makes sense the soon-to-be second-year wing would take on some more responsibilities in the upcoming season.
Bogdanovic took a big step over the final 22 games of last year, averaging 12.0 points in 26.2 minutes per game off the bench. He shot a fantastic 52 percent from the field and 45 percent from three during that span.
He probably can't replicate that production over the course of a full season. Those would be Kyle Korver-like numbers. And if he's handling the ball more, that means his value and thus, his average shot difficulty, is point to increase. But a better season than this past one is definitely a realistic expectation for one of the Nets' best young players.
