WATCH: Holliday goes yard for a grand slam to punctuate return

Recently back from a quad injury, Matt Holliday returned to the lineup in a big way -- grand-slam big --Tuesday night.

The St. Louis Cardinals' slugger was benefitted by the start of a series at the Chicago White Sox, an American League opponent where the DH is in play. It allowed Holliday to the opportunity to take some hacks without the rigors and risks of playing in the field.

It didn't take him long to find his groove. In the fourth inning, Holliday took Sox pitcher Carlos Rodon deep to left for a grand slam and an early 7-0 lead.
