The AL Central-leading Cleveland Indians are riding a six-game winning streak and are 15-6 this month, including 11-0 at home. So, to what should they attribute their success?

Perhaps to the same higher power that famed Indians slugger Pedro Cerrano once credited for his power.

Yes, the Indians have constructed a shrine to Jobu, one that would make the "Major League" cast proud. It sits between the lockers of second baseman Jason Kipnis and first baseman Mike Napoli and features Jobu figurines, several bottles of rum and a sweater that says: "It is very bad to drink Jobu's rum. Very bad."

"We've had Jobu there for a little bit," Kipnis told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "He's been working. He didn't like the first airport vodka we left him. So we tried Bacardi (rum) and that seems to be working. Right now it's working so we're not going to mess with what works."
