Rookie Daniel Norris looking to regain form in Buffalo

Daniel Norris thought he was ready. After cracking the Toronto Blue Jays starting rotation out of spring training, he experienced dead arm and was sent down to Triple-A Buffalo. He told the Vancouver Sun, "it literally felt like something hit me in the stomach. I’d never felt anything like that. I literally had to grab my side. It was like a stitch.”
In three starts with Buffalo, Norris owns a 2.50 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 18 innings. Though he isn't pushing for a promotion, he does is "really, really close" and feels "back to normal." Manager John Gibbons is on his side, surely hoping to help boost his struggling starting rotation. "“Ideally, he’s back up here in the near future," he said. "But we want to make sure he’s ready.”
