MLB players congratulate Ichiro on reaching 3,000 hits

Ichiro Suzuki made history Sunday in Colorado, becoming just the 30th player in Major League Baseball history to record 3,000 hits. Ichiro ripped a triple in the seventh inning against the Rockies, and is just the second batter ever to join the club with a triple (after Paul Molitor did it in 1996).
Ichiro, who has well over 4,000 professional hits if you count his stats from NLB in Japan, is one of the most widely respected players in the game, and his competitors from around the league saluted his achievement on social media.
Congratulations to legendary hitter, Ichiro, on #3000. Catch ya later in Cooperstown. Omedetōgozaimasu! @baseballhall @Marlins @Mariners.
