Mets fans create corn maze of Mike Piazza's face

Yes, Mets fans, you read the title correctly.
For today’s edition of “Michelle gives us only the most newsworthy Mets news” I bring you the Mike Piazza corn maze. It is real folks. And it’s waiting for you to go visit.
The VonThun Farm in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey created this corn maze of Piazza’s face as a way of congratulating him on his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Literally though, right in the corn maze and in addition to Piazza’s face, they wrote “Congrats Mike on the Hall of Fame.” So. Amazing.
Here, check it out for yourself:

As if that’s not enough, the VonThun Farm also replicated the iconic Mets Home Run Apple, and included his number 31 on the apple as well.
Bob VonThun of The VonThun Farm had the following to say:
“We’re very excited to have this opportunity to honor Mike Piazza and thought this was a great fit for our fall corn maze theme.”
The VonThun Farm has been making corn mazes like this since 2008. Derek Jeter had his own corn maze one year, despite the employees being die-hard Mets fans, as reported by MyCentralJersey.com.
This maze, which spans across 6-acres, is their hardest so far according to the employees of the farm.
According to the VonThun Farms press release:
“The farm staff thinks the Piazza maze is the most challenging maze the farm has ever designed.”
There you have it, Mets fans. If you’re looking for some fun fall activities to do, head to South Brunswick, New Jersey and you can test your luck in a Mike Piazza corn maze. What an interesting way to spend the offseason, right? I mean, I’m clearly intrigued by it if you couldn’t tell.
