Indians shuffle their Game 7 lineup after defensive disaster in Game 6

The Cleveland Indians are shuffling their lineup a bit for Game 7, with Rajai Davis replacing rookie Tyler Naquin in center field.
The change comes a day after Naquin and right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall had a miscommunication that resulted in two runs scoring on what should have been the final out of the first inning. Because of the gaffe, a 1-0 Cubs lead became a 3-0 Cubs lead. Naquin and Chisenhall then had another near-miss in the third inning.
Davis, who will hit seventh Wednesday, is stronger defensively than Naquin and also more of a threat on the basepaths. He led the AL with 43 stolen bases during the regular season and swiped three bags in Cleveland’s Game 5 loss in the World Series.
Neither outfielder is hitting well in this series or this postseason. Naquin is 1-for-7 with five strikeouts in the World Series and just 4-for-23 with 14 strikeouts this postseason. Davis is 3-for-15 in the World Series after going 0-for-12 in the ALDS and ALCS.
Meanwhile, the Cubs will use the same lineup from their Game 6 win on Tuesday.
Game 7 begins at 8 p.m. ET on FOX following a one-hour pregame show. Or you can watch it here on FOX Sports GO.
