How does Cubs' Maddon stay loose?: Rocking Sly and The Family Stone

Cubs manager Joe Maddon is definitely one cool cat. He's funny, engaging, has a way of relating to players more than half his age. And he really likes music.

On Wednesday, Maddon was in his office before Chicago played an important game against Pittsburgh -- with the Pirates -- rocking the great, all-American soul and funk band from back in the day, Sly and The Family Stone.

According to Cubs broadcaster Len Kasper, apparently quite the Sly fan himself, recognized the tune playing as "There's a Riot Goin' On."
