Hammel redeems Rizzo, Cubs with perfect shot at Blackhawks game

Earlier in the month, Chicago Cubs star Anthony Rizzo attempted to shoot a puck into the goal for his charity during a Chicago Blackhawks game.
It didn't go well, as Rizzo missed all three shots he attempted.

On Sunday, Rizzo's teammate Jason Hammel got his own chance to show baseball players can handle a hockey stick. He missed the first three shots, but made the fourth.

Afterward, Hammel made sure to gloat a bit as the expense of Rizzo on Twitter.
Hey @ARizzo44! That wasn't hard. #igoturback #gottacleanupurslop @cubs @nhlblackhawks pic.twitter.com/hm3CwEclcI

It should be noted, however, Rizzo is left-handed, trying to shoot the puck right-handed. Hammer is a righty, and got to shoot on his correct side. The Cubs first baseman made sure to point out that fact later in response.
Wow you make shooting right handed look so easy dude... https://t.co/l8aCyHEfNp

@ARizzo44 From what I can remember, they had lefty sticks in the back...

At least both Hammel and Rizzo will be getting back to their own sport of baseball very soon with spring training on the horizon.
