Cubs' Theo Epstein caught sitting in Wrigley Field bleachers in disguise

The Chicago Cubs officially clinched the NL Central pennant when the St. Louis Cardinals lost to the San Francisco Giants late Thursday night.

Considering that the Cubs were sitting 40 games over .500, 17 games up in the division, and a commanding six-game lead over the Washington Nationals for home field advantage in the playoffs — the mood is quite relaxed around the already-friendly confines of Wrigley Field.

Fast forward to the team's game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday afternoon. It appeared even Theo Epstein, the Cubs' president of baseball operations, was getting in on the fun (or something) — dressed up in disguise and sitting with the fans in the left field bleachers.

Maybe he was trying to gather some intel undercover on what the fans were thinking at this point in the season. Maybe he wanted to scout out the left fielder for his team and the Brewers. Or maybe he just felt like wearing a costume and seeing if anyone would notice.

Regardless, if Epstein's antics today are any indication; things are good at Wrigley Field. What could possibly go wrong?
