Buster Posey picks off Dodgers' Turner at second base for final out of 2-1 win

In the top of the ninth inning on Monday night with a full count on Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez ... the game abruptly ended. Giants catcher Buster Posey caught Justin Turner wandering too far off the second-base bag.

Giants closer Mark Melancon had just gotten Gonzalez to swing at strike two when Posey eyed Turner and uncorked a perfect throw across the diamond to shortstop Brandon Crawford, who easily tagged Turner, still about three feet off the bag. Take a look:

The out gave the Giants a 2-1 win. That's a brutal base-running mistake for Turner, who potentially could have tied the game on a single by Gonzalez.

But it wasn't the Dodgers' only base-running blunder. Just an inning earlier, Posey nailed Chris Taylor when he attempted to steal second with Corey Seager at the plate. Posey does not usually see a lot of stolen base attempts against him because he throws 'em out at such a high rate (37% in'16).

Meanwhile, poor Seager and Gonzalez just want to finish their at-bats.
