A.J. Burnett has never made an All-Star team and with the way he's pitched so far there's a good chance that his name will be called when the team's are selected Sunday.
However, with that announcement looming at the end of the week Burnett is staying focused on his next start.

"I'm curious,” Burnett told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. ”But it ain't gonna change the way I go about anything. I've a side in two days and then another start. That's all I'm worried about."
Burnett is 7-3 with a 2.05 ERA so far this season.
