Buehrle could get extra start with Blue Jays to top 200 innings

After tossing six innings in the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Sunday, Mark Buehrle's season total climbed to 191 1/3 innings.
Buehrle has never tossed under 200 innings in his career as a full-time starter, dating back to 2001.
To help him eclipse that mark yet again, manager John Gibbons said after the game Sunday that Buehrle might get a start on short rest.
Even with his resume and postseason experience, the lefty only wants to make the postseason rotation if he's earned it.
On Friday, the Blue Jays clinched a playoff bid for the first time since 1993. It will be Buehrle's first appearance in the postseason since 2008 with the Chicago White Sox.
Gibby said if Buehrle has < 200 IP after last scheduled start & #bluejays have clinched, he could make another short start on short rest.
