Bochy plans to adjust Giants lineup to increase scoring at home

The Giants just finished a sweep of the Brewers in Milwaukee where the team scored 17 runs in three games. That’s typical of the Giants’ run production on the road as they are averaging about five runs per game away from AT&T Park. In contrast, the club averages about three runs per game at home. If you recall, the Giants only scored 11 runs in a three-game sweep of the Dodgers last week at AT&T.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, manager Bruce Bochy plans to shake up the lineup when the team returns home in order to trigger more scoring. The idea is to have Nori Aoki lead off and then Angel Pagan and Hunter Pence follow him either in that order or vice versa. Joe Panik would be dropped to the bottom of the order.
The Giants actually have a somewhat better record at home than on the road despite scoring two fewer runs per game: 14-9 vs. 14-11.
