Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez has no-hitter through six innings vs. Red Sox

Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez is throwing a no-hitter through six innings pitched against the Red Sox. You can follow along here.

Sanchez has thrown 80 pitches and struck out six, while walking a pair of hitters.

The 24-year-old is aiming for the second no-hitter of the season, after Cubs ace Jake Arrieta tossed one on April 21. The no-no would be the second in franchise history, after Dave Steib’s on Sept. 2, 1990.

With a win, the Blue Jays can clinch a spot in the AL wild card game. The Red Sox are also looking to grab home field advantage from the Indians with a victory.
