Angel Pagan won't be ready to return to the San Francisco Giants when he's eligible to come off the disabled list, but it shouldn't be long before he's back in the Giants' outfield.
Manager Bruce Bochy told reporters Sunday that Pagan, who has been on the disabled list with tendinitis in his right knee retroactive to Aug. 10, will continue to play with the Giants' Triple-A affiliate in Sacramento on Tuesday and Wednesday, after which he'll be reevaluated.
"Then we'll see how he's doing," Bochy said.
