After tearing his ACL, Georgia WR calls out Tennessee's field

You can add Georgia receiver Justin Scott-Wesley to the growing list of people dissatisfied with the playing service inside Neyland Stadium. The senior tore his ACL without being contacted while playing on Tennessee's grass in 2013.

“The turf is definitely something that has to be looked into, just because not even from an injury standpoint, just a playing-surface standpoint, it’s bad,” Scott-Wesley said Wednesday according to Dawg Nation. “It’s bad. Going into the Tennessee game in pregame warm-ups it was almost torn up, torn to pieces before the game even started. It’s definitely something that needs to be looked into. I mean you could see it from the TV copy, when you’re watching the game you could see.”

Scott-Wesley hasn't been the only Bulldog injured at Tennessee, as both Keith Marshall and Nick Chubb suffered knee injuries in Neyland Stadium -- however both running back were lost after being contacted by Tennessee defenders.

The fact that Conference USA team North Texas openly mocked the playing conditions at Tennessee during its recent trip to Knoxville should be reason enough to motivate change.
