William & Mary rolls past NC-Wilmington 93-70

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) Brandon Britt scored 22 points to lead hot-shooting William & Mary to a 93-70 win over North Carolina-Wilmington on Monday.

The Tribe (16-9, 8-4 Colonial Athletic Association) shot 57 percent, making 16 of 30 3-pointers with Britt going 4 for 5. Marcus Thornton added 15 points and Kyle Gaillard made three 3's and scored 14 points.

Luke Hager and Addison Spruill had 10 apiece for the Seahawks (8-21, 2-12).

Down 20-19 in the first half, Thornton started a 10-0 run with a three-point play. Britt followed with two free throws and a layup and Omar Prewitt hit a 3. The lead reached 15 on a Britt 3 before the Tribe settled for a 44-36 advantage at the half.

An 11-0 run, highlighted by Terry Tarpey's five points and a Thornton dunk made it 65-42 to 10:54 to play.
